A new triazine functionalized hexagonally ordered covalent organic polymer (TRITER-1) has been synthesized via the Schiff-base condensation reaction between a tailor made triamine 1,3,5-tris-(4-aminophenyl)triazine (TAPT) and terephthaldehyde.
