The same physical reality in Two Higgs doublet model (2HDM) can be described by different Lagrangians. We call this property the reparametriza-tion invariance (in space of Lagrangians) and study corresponding symmetry group and its subgroup describing rephasing invariance. Next we consider the Z2-symmetry of the Lagrangian, which prevents a φ1 ↔ φ2 transitions, and the different levels of its v...

We examine the constraints on the two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) due to the stability of the scalar potential and absence of Landau poles at energy scales below the Planck scale. We employ the most general 2HDM that incorporates an approximately Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson with a flavor aligned Yukawa sector to eliminate potential tree-level Higgs-mediated flavor changing neutral currents. ...

This manual describes the public code 2HDMC which can be used to perform calculations in a general , CP-conserving, two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM). The program features simple conversion between different parametrizations of the 2HDM potential, a flexible Yukawa sector specification with choices of different Z 2-symmetries or more general couplings, a tree-level decay library including all two-...

We discuss the validity of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SM EFT) as the low-energy effective theory for the two-Higgs-doublet Model (2HDM). Using the up-to-date Higgs signal strength measurements at the LHC, one can obtain a likelihood function for the Wilson coefficients of dimension-6 operators in the EFT Lagrangian. Given the matching between the 2HDM and the EFT, the constraint...

We revisit dark matter annihilation as an explanation of the positron excess reported recently by AMS-02 satellite-borne experiment. To this end, we propose a particle model considering Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) extended with additional singlet boson and fermion. The (light) mixes pseudoscalar inherent in 2HDM, fermion, which is candidate, annihilates via bosonic portal. candidate made lep...

Dark Matter (DM) density is reduced if entropy production takes place after DM particles abundance frozen out in the early universe. We study a possibility of such reduction due to electroweak phase transition (EWPT). compare scenarios standard model (SM) and its simplest extension, two-Higgs doublet (2HDM). Assuming EWPT second order SM scenario first 2HDM, we calculate release these correspon...

One of the main features of a Two-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) is the presence of two additional neutral Higgs states, besides the one mimicking the ∼ 125 GeV state observed at the LHC. The three Higgs bosons of a 2HDM can be produced at the LHC either singly via gluon fusion or in pairs with each other. When analyzing their pair production, the emphasis is laid on gluoninitiated processes, and t...

We obtain tree-level unitarity constraints for the most general Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) with explicit CP-violation. We briefly discuss correspondence between possible violation of tree level unitarity limitation and physical content of the theory. The Electroweak Symmetry Breaking in the Standard Model is described usually with the Higgs mechanism. In its simplest variant, an initial Hig...

We revisit the possibility of first order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) in one simplest extensions Standard Model scalar sector, namely two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM). take into account ensuing constraints from precision tests, Higgs signal strengths and recent LHC bounds direct searches. By studying vacuum 2HDM, we discuss detail entropy released EWPT various parameter planes a 2HDM.

The rare decay B → Xsγγ is studied in the Standard Model (SM) and in two different versions (Model I and Model II) of the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM). In the SM the branching ratio into hard photons is about 1 × 10 and can be appreciably different in the 2HDM. We also introduce a forward-backward asymmetry which gives an additional handle to discriminate different models.
