In this talk I review the status of B−B mixing in the Standard Model and the room for new physics in Bs−Bs and Bd−Bd mixing in the light of recent LHCb data.

I briefly review some results and open questions in the analysis of CP violation in the B sector.

A phenomenological description of the neutral K and B meson systems is presented. The situation of the current CP violation experiments is described and a detailed discussion of their results is given, followed by some future prospects.
