Reentry within the His-Purkinje System (V3 phenomenon) where the reentry pathway incorporates both bundle branches and the bundle of His is a frequent phenomenon during ventricular refractory period studies. In this form of reentry, both divisions of the left bundle branch function as a single limb and the reentrant beats (V3) have either left bundle branch block or right bundle branch block pa...
HIV-1 envelop gene is a major target for vaccine development. Envelop protein and its V3 loop is shown to be important determinant of HIV-1 pathogenecity. Herein, the evolutionary pattern of most prevalent HIV-1 subtype B in Asia is determined by analyzing envelop protein and V3 domain based on the 40 randomly selected sequences of HIV-1 from database (Los Alamos), divided into four groups sinc...
Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1 uses for entry into host cells a receptor (CD4) and one of two co-receptors (CCR5 or CXCR4). Recently, a new class of antiretroviral drugs has entered clinical practice that specifically bind to the co-receptor CCR5, and thus inhibit virus entry. Accurate prediction of the co-receptor used by the virus in the patient is important as it allows for personalized sele...
We tested the hypothesis that hypertrophy of the human heart is associated with the redistribution of ventricular isomyosins. Human cardiac myosin was isolated from autopsy samples of left ventricular free wall of patients with cardiac hypertrophy and of fetal, young, and adult subjects without heart disease. The following parameters were studied: electrophoretic migration in denaturing and non...
Isozymes of myosin have been localized with respect to individual cardiac myocytes in hearts from 3-week-old, adult controls, and adult hypophysectomized rats, and in cultured cardiac cells. For this purpose, affinity-purified antibodies reacting specifically with the heavy chains of each of the two major myosin isozymes of adult rat heart, V1 and V3, were used. The distribution of the two isom...
To provide protective immunity against circulating primary HIV-1 strains, a vaccine most likely has to induce broadly neutralizing antibodies to the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env) spike. Recombinant Env trimers such as the prototype BG505 SOSIP.664 that closely mimic the native Env spike can induce autologous neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) against relatively resistant (tier 2) primary viruse...
The spikes of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) mediate viral entry and are the most important targets for neutralizing antibodies. Each spike consists of three identical subunits. The role of the spike's subunits in antibody binding is not fully understood. One experimental approach to analyze trimer function uses assays with mixed envelope trimer expressing cells or viruses. As these exp...
This paper presents V3, an unsupervised system for aspect-based Sentiment Analysis when evaluated on the SemEval 2014 Task 4. V3 focuses on generating a list of aspect terms for a new domain using a collection of raw texts from the domain. We also implement a very basic approach to classify the aspect terms into categories and assign polarities to them.
Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 serotype C was found in 545 of 712 Ethiopian patients by peptide enzyme immunoassay. Serotyping failed in 146 samples due to the absence of V3 antibodies or multiple reactivities. In 6 of 34 samples, discordant results were obtained by serotyping and genotyping, possibly due to divergent V3 sequences.
A connection is established between the soliton equations and curves moving in a three dimensional space V3. The sign of the selfinteracting terms of the soliton equations are related to the signature of V3. It is shown that there corresponds a moving curve to each soliton equations.
