We report a 72-year-old patient with thoracic myelopathy due to isolated ossification of the ligamentum flavum at T9-T10. Severe paraparesis had developed before the lesion was identified when thinning of a segment of the lower thoracic spinal cord was suspected on a second MRI examination. The diagnosis was then established by CT.
We consider the interaction of two enemy nations. Nation 1 wants to develop a nuclear bomb (or other weapons of mass destruction). Nation 2 wants to prevent such a development through the deterrence of a threatened attack, or an actual attack if it thought the bomb was produced. 2 has an intelligence system that imperfectly indicates the presence of a bomb. 1, if lacking the bomb, can open its ...
Navigating a Concept Lattice Family w.r.t a Query Introduction Relational Concept Analysis (RCA) constructs conceptual abstractions from a relational context family (RCF). An RCF is sets of objects described by both own properties and inter-object links. It generates several lattices that are connected via relational attributes. Navigating such interrelated lattice family in order to find conce...

The familyMethanomicrobiaceaecomprises hydrogen- and formate-utilizing methanogens. Genome sequencing of nine species ofMethanomicrobiaceaehas been conducted so far. Here, we report three additional draft genome sequences ofMethanomicrobiaceae, those ofMethanoculleus horonobensisJCM 15517 (=T10(T)),Methanoculleus thermophilusDSM 2373 (=CR-1(T)), andMethanofollis ethanolicusJCM 15103 (=HASU(T)).
Magnetic resonance imaging revealing abnormally high signal intensity in the thoracic cord, extending from T5 to T10 on a sagittal T2-weighted image (Figure 1A). An axial T2-weighted image showing "owl's eye sign" involving central-anterior cord (Figure 1B), which was consistent with anterior spinal cord syndrome.
