We give a simple proof of the Kernel theorem for the space of tempered ultradistributions of Beurling Komatsu type, using the characterization of Fourier-Hermite coefficients of the elements of the space. We prove in details that the test space of tempered ultradistributions of Beurling Komatsu type can be identified with the space of sequences of ultrapolynomal falloff and its dual space with ...

This paper studies a q-deformation, Br,s(q), of the walled Brauer algebra (a certain subalgebra of the Brauer algebra) and shows that the centralizer algebra for the action of the quantum group UR(gln) on mixed tensor space (R) ⊗ (Rn)∗ is generated by the action of Br,s(q) for any commutative ring R with one and an invertible element q.

The dynamical process following the breaking of Weyl geometry to Riemannian geometry is considered by studying the motion of de Sitter bubbles in a Weyl vacuum. The bubbles are given in terms of an exact, spherically symmetric thin shell solution to the Einstein equations in a Weyl-Dirac theory with a time-dependent scalar field of the form β = f(t)/r. The dynamical solutions obtained lead to a...

Generically (for r + s ≥ n) the centralizer algebra for the action of GLn(C) on mixed tensor space (C n) ⊗r ⊗ ((C n) *) ⊗s is a certain subalgebra of the Brauer algebra, known as the walled (or rational) Brauer algebra. This paper studies a q-deformation, B n r,s (q), of the walled Brauer algebra and shows that the centralizer algebra for the action of the quantum group UR(gl n) on mixed tensor...

In this paper, we discuss the isometric embedding problem in hyperbolic space with nonnegative extrinsic curvature. We prove a priori bounds for the trace of the second fundamental form H and extend the result to ndimensions. We also obtain an estimate for the gradient of the smaller principal curvature in 2 dimensions.

In this paper, we show the second part of Schur-Weyl duality for mixed tensor space. The quantum group U = U(gln) of the general linear group and a q-deformation Br,s(q) of the walled Brauer algebra act on V ⊗r ⊗V ∗⊗s where V = R is the natural U-module. We show that EndBnr,s(q)(V ⊗r ⊗ V ∗) is the image of the representation of U, which we call the rational q-Schur algebra. As a byproduct, we o...

We illustrate why a space-time structure as in General Relativity is not in contradiction with a dynamical origin of gravity from a scalar field. Further, we argue that the recently discovered gap-less mode of the singlet Higgs field represents the most natural dynamical agent of Newtonian gravity. 1. Following the original induced-gravity models [1], one may attempt to describe gravity as an e...

We develop a systematic description of Weyl and Fano operators on a lattice phase space. Introducing the so-called ghost variable even on an odd lattice, odd and even lattices can be treated in a symmetric way. The Wigner function is defined using these operators on the quantum phase space, which can be interpreted as a spin phase space. If we extend the space with a dichotomic variable, a posi...
