In this work Chaotic Predator-Prey Brain Storm Optimization (CPS) algorithm is proposed to solve optimal reactive power dispatch problem. Predator–Prey position cluster centers execute as predators, accordingly it will progress towards enhanced positions, although the left over thoughts do preys; consequently they move far from their neighboring predators. projected chaotic theory has been appl...

We test the controversial ideas about the role of corridors in fragmented animal habitats. Using simulation studies we analyze how fragmentation affects a simple prey-predator system and how the introduction of openings that connect the habitats changes the situation. Our individual based model consists of 3 levels: renewable prey food, as well as prey and predators that both have a simple econ...

A discrete-time predator-prey model is proposed with Leslie-type numerical response, and the asymmetrical influence of Allee effect on the proposed system is investigated. By mathematical analysis, locally stable conditions for the equilibrium points of the considered systems with or without Allee effect are obtained firstly. Furthermore, numerical simulation is used to verify the results and d...

Synopsis Successful feeding and escape behaviors in fishes emerge from precise integration of locomotion and feeding movements. Fishes inhabit a wide range of habitats, including still ponds, turbulent rivers, and wave-pounded shorelines, and these habitats vary in several physical variables that can strongly impact both predator and prey. Temperature, the conditions of ambient flow, and light ...

We propose a biological economic model based on prey-predator dynamics where the prey species are continuously harvested and predation is considered with type II functional response. The dynamic behavior of the proposed biological economic prey-predator model is discussed. Continuous type gestational delay of predators is incorporated and its effect on the dynamical behavior of the model system...

Abstract In this paper, we consider a nonautonomous predator–prey model with Holling type II schemes and prey refuge. By applying the comparison theorem of differential equations constructing suitable Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions that guarantee permanence global stability system are obtained. oscillation theory equations, set extinction predator is

In this paper, a asymptotically periodic predator-prey model with Modified Leslie-Gower and Holling-Type II schemes is investigated. Some sufficient conditions for the uniformly strong persistence of the system are established. Our result is an important complementarity to the earlier results. Keywords—Predator-prey model, uniformly strong persistence, asymptotically periodic, Holling-type II.

The global properties of the classical three-dimensional Lotka-Volterra two prey-one predator and one prey-two predator systems, under the assumption that competition can be neglected, are analysed with the direct Lyapunov method. It is shown that, except for a pathological case, one species is always driven to extinction, and the system behaves asymptotically as a two-dimensional predator-prey...

In aquatic systems, prey animals associate predation risk with cues that originate either from the predator or from injured conspecifics. Sources and benefits of these cues have received considerable attention in river, lake, and pond ecosystems but are less well understood in small container ecosystems that can hold less than a liter of water. Mosquitoes Aedes triseriatus (Say) and Aedes albop...

A central question in evolutionary biology is how coevolutionary history between predator and prey influences their interactions. Contemporary global change and range expansion of exotic organisms impose a great challenge for prey species, which are increasingly exposed to invading non-native predators, with which they share no evolutionary history. Here, we complete a comprehensive survey of e...
