The large Bayanbaolege Ag polymetallic ore deposit is located in the Tuquan-Linxi Fe (Sn)-Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Nb (Ta) metallogenic belt, which an important part of Great Xing’an Range province, northeast China. sulfide–quartz vein-type orebodies are mainly hosted Cretaceous granodiorite porphyry and Late Permian Linxi formation. U-Pb dating zircon from post-ore diorite porphyrite yields age 124.8 ± 1.1...

In gold-endowed greenstone belts, ore bodies generally correspond to orogenic gold systems (OGS) formed during the main deformation stage that led craton stabilization (syntectonic period). Most OGS deposits postdate and locally overprint magmatic-hydrothermal systems, such as Au-Cu porphyry mostly magmatic (synvolcanic period) polymetallic intrusion-related (IRGS) of syntectonic period. Porphy...

Abstract Mineral inclusions within native gold are features of lode occurrences that preserved in detrital particles. Inclusion assemblages populations particles placers from specific localities revealed through inspection polished sections, and assimilation robust data sets permits reconstruction the source mineralogy. differ considerably according to deposit type, various approaches have been...

Mechanical cells have seen an exponential increase in size over the past 60 years. However, a possible limitation due to carrying capacity constraints has been raised. Taking Cu porphyry case, cell sizing exercise is used show that can be tested using available techniques. A range of conditions explored suggest continued above current maximum size, ca. 600 m3, does not seem warranted.

Bor and Cukaru Peki are world-class porphyry deposits spatially genetically associated with the Cretaceous Timok magmatic complex. This research was conducted to determine age geochemical affinity of rocks that formed these ore deposits. Our new analyses from imply they comprise adakite-like compositions have undergone amphibole fractionation sulphide saturation processes. The zircon ages indic...
