In this paper, we introduce and study a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings. An iterative algorithm is constructed for solving a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the proposed algorithm is proved. Some illustrative examples are also given.

In this paper,  we provide two different kinds of fixed pointtheorems in  fuzzy metric spaces. The first kind is for the fuzzy$varepsilon$-contractive type mappings and  the second kind is forthe fuzzy order $psi$-contractive type mappings. They improve thecorresponding  conclusions in the literature.

In this paper, we give a fixed point theorem for $(psi,varphi)$-weakly contractive mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces. We also give a common fixed point theorem for such mappings in complete $b$-metric spaces via altering functions. The given results generalize two known results in the setting of metric spaces. Two examples are given to verify the given results.

A DataSpace Support Platform (DSSP) is a self-sustained and self-managed system which needs to support uncertainty among its mediated schemas and its schema mappings. Some approaches for managing such uncertainty by assigning probabilities and reliability degrees to schema mappings have been proposed. Unfortunately, the number of mappings self-generated by a DSSP is usually too large and among ...

The concept of 2-metric space is a natural generalization of the metric space. Initially, it has been investigated by Gähler [3] and has been developed broadly by Gähler [4, 5] and more. After this number of fixed point theorems have been proved for 2-metric spaces by introducing compatible mappings, which are more general than commuting and weakly commuting mappings. Jungck and Rhoades defined...

In this paper an approach to joint source-channel coding (JSCC), named Shannon-Kotel’nikov mappings (SKmappings), is presented. SK-mappings are (piecewise) continuous direct source-to-channel mappings operating directly on amplitude continuous discrete time signals. A theory for calculating and categorizing the end-to-end distortion when using SK-mappings for communication is presented. The the...

We extend the notion of generalized weakly contraction mappings due to Choudhury et al. (2011) to generalized α-β-weakly contraction mappings. We show with examples that our new class of mappings is a real generalization of several known classes of mappings. We also establish fixed point results for such mappings in metric spaces. Applying our new results, we obtain fixed point results on ordin...

We propose discrete mappings of second order that have a discrete analogue of Lyapunov function. The mappings are extensions of the integrable Quispel-RobertsThompson (QRT) mapping, and a discrete Lyapunov function of the mappings is identical to an explicit conserved quantity of the QRT mapping. Moreover we can obtain a differential and an ultradiscrete limit of the mappings preserving the exi...

In this paper, we first introduce a new family of functions like an implicit function called ?-functions. Furthermore, concept ?-?F-fuzzy contractive mappings, which is weaker than the class fuzzy F-contractive mappings. Then, existence and uniqueness fixed point are established for type mappings in setting metric spaces. Moreover, some examples application to nonlinear fractional differential ...
