A combined NMR and neutron diffraction study has been carried out on three Li(3-x-y)Cu(x)N materials with x=0.17, x=0.29 and x=0.36. Neutron diffraction indicates that the samples retain the P6/mmm space group of the parent Li(3)N with Cu located only on Li(1) sites. The lattice parameters vary smoothly with x in a similar fashion to Li(3-x-y)Ni(x)N, but the Li(2) vacancy concentration for the ...

Li diffusion in spinel-type structured cubic and hexagonal LixTiS2 with x = 0.6 and 0.7, respectively, was investigated by solid state NMR spectroscopy. In layered hexagonal LixTiS2, Li diffusion is known to be confined to the van-der-Waals gap between the TiS2 planes, i. e., it is two-dimensional (2D). In cubic LixTiS2, however, Li diffusion takes place in the three-dimensional (3D) interstiti...

Presently lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) is the dominant Li-salt used in commercial rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) based on a graphite anode and a 3–4 V cathode material. While LiPF6 is not the ideal Li-salt for every important electrolyte property, it has a uniquely suitable combination of properties (temperature range, passivation, conductivity, etc.) rendering it the overall ...

lithium (li), a glycogen synthase kinase-3β (gsk-3β) inhibitor, has used to attenuate thecannabinoid-induced dependence/withdrawal signs, but molecular mechanisms related to this areunclear. recent studies indicate the involvement of upstream extracellular signal kinase1/2 (erk1/2)and downstream gsk-3β pathways in the development of cannabinoid-induced dependence. thisis mediated through cannab...

Eight apterous species of the paederine genus Lathrobium Gravenhorst, 1802 from the Chinese province Sichuan are described, illustrated, and distinguished from closely related and/or geographically close congeners: Lathrobium erlangense Peng & Li sp. n. (Erlang Shan), Lathrobium blandum Peng & Li sp. n. (Labahe N. R.), Lathrobium yelense Peng & Li sp. n. (Yele), Lathrobium obscurum Peng & Li sp...

We study the Li clustering process on graphene and obtain the geometry, nucleation barrier, and electronic structure of the clusters using first-principles calculations. We estimate the concentration-dependent nucleation barrier for Li on graphene. While the nucleation occurs more readily with increasing Li concentration, possibly leading to the dendrite formation and failure of the Li-ion batt...

Rate coefficients for inelastic collisions between Li and H atoms covering all transitions between the asymptotic states Li(2s,2p,3s,3p,3d,4s,4p,4d,4f )+H(1s) and Li+H are presented for the temperature range 2000–8000 K based on recent cross-section calculations. The data are of sufficient completeness for non-LTE modelling of the Li I 670.8 nm and 610.4 nm features in late-type stellar atmosph...
