GraphAEL extracts three types of evolving graphs from the Graph Drawing literature and creates 2D and 3D animations of the evolutions. We study citation graphs, topic graphs, and collaboration graphs. We also create difference graphs which capture the nature of change between two given time periods. GraphAEL can be accessed online at http://graphael.cs.arizona.edu.
Output and asset returns are highly positively correlated across the U.S. and the remaining major industrialized countries. Standard business cycle models that assume #exible prices and wages, in the real business cycle (RBC) tradition, have great di$culties explaining this fact. The proposal is very sophisticated and takes into consideration numerous elements of a complex society. First of all, it is worth pointing out that the model of society proposed by Rawls is a liberal society, based on the ide...
Preliminary results for some of the light baryon masses and their excited states in 2+1 flavour domain wall QCD are presented. The spectrum was determined on two volumes, 16 3 × 32 and 24 3 × 64, both with L S = 16. The degenerate light quark mass is less than a third of the strange quark mass. All data was produced jointly by the RBC and UKQCD collaborations on QCDOC machines.
The Semantic Web is charming but not easy to realize, since one of the prerequisite steps is to create semantic and precise data adhere to traditional web pages. The Rycroft-Malone paper states that co-production relies on ‘authentic’ collaboration as a context for action. Our commentary supports and extends this assertion. We suggest that ‘authentic’ co-production involves processes where participants can ‘see’ the difference that they have made within the project and beyond. We provide examples including: the use of design in health projects which see...
E-collaboration users tend to abandon their technology when they feel dissatisfied by their experience, even if they have been productive. It is therefore important to understand the causes of satisfaction so we can design and deploy e-collaboration in ways that make users both productive and satisfied. We advance a theory proposing satisfaction as a function of a perceived change in the likeli...
