A model for estimating the total eddy current losses in ring ferrite cores is proposed, which based on a microstructure of electrical parameters material (conductivity and permittivity) solution wave equations core. The presented model, combined with state-of-the-art estimation hysteresis losses, gives good agreement core loss measurements, over wide range frequencies (10–700 kHz).
