The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(8)H(8)BrClO(2), sits on a crystallographic inversion centre, which ensures that the halogen sites are disordered, with exactly 50% Br and 50% Cl at each halogen site. The inversion renders the two meth-oxy groups equivalent. These groups lie almost in the plane of the aromatic ring system, making dihedral angles of 8.8 (4)° to the ring.
The Sn atom in the title salt, (C(7)H(11)N(2))(2)[SnBr(4.67)Cl(1.33)], lies on a center of symmetry within an octa-hedron of disordered halogen atoms. The three independent halogen atoms are each a mixture of bromine and chlorine atoms [with site occupancies for bromine of 0.614 (1), 0.831 (1) and 0.888 (1)]. An N-H⋯ hydrogen bond is present.
background: icter is the most prevalent disease in newborns. although most of the newborns affiliated with this seem healthy in other aspects, there is always a fear for toxic complication of indirect hyperbilirobinemia in the central nervous system. if the level of indirect bilirobin increases in the plasma to a level, which denotes the probability of danger, phototherapy must be carried out i...
In the title compound, C(11)H(8)Cl(2)N(2)O, the benzene and pyridazine rings are tilted by 8.6 (1)° relative to each other. In the crystal, pairs of inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form centrosymmetric dimers. π-π contacts with centroid-centroid distances of 3.698 (2) and 3.751 (1) Å and halogen-halogen inter-actions [3.379 (1) Å] also stabilize the structure.
Halogen bonding is a flourishing field of research, but has for long been little recognized. The same goes its scientific hero, Odd Hassel, who laid the foundations all current developments. crystallographic observation halogen−oxygen interatomic distances shorter than sum van der Waals radii involved atoms, and interpretation this phenomenon as charge-transfer interaction, have ground-breaking...
For the production of cyclic carbonates from cycloaddition CO2 with epoxides, halogen pollution and product purity are two most common problems due to usage homogeneous halogen-containing catalysts such as ammonium salt alkali metal halide. Hence, development a novel, halogen-free efficient catalyst for synthesis high-purity is significant. Here, series acid–base bifunctional Ce1-xZrxO2 nanorod...
In this research at the first complex and its halogenated derivatives were optimized. NBO calculations and NMR for the complexes were carried out at the B3LYP/6-31G*quantum chemistry level. In the 1- (4-fluorophenyl) -2, 3-dihydro-1 H-naphto- [1, 2-e] [1, 3] oxazine-3-n, there are 4 rings, respectively, rings from the side attached to the halogen They are named C, B, A, and D. Calculations and ...
8 The properties of a halogen-covered platinum (111) surface have been studied using density func9 tional theory (DFT) as halides are often present at electrochemical electrode/electrolyte interfaces. 10 We focused in particular on the halogen-induced work function change as a function of coverage 11 of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine. For electronegative adsorbates, an adsorption-induce...
Self-assembly of block copolymers into well-defined, ordered arrangements of chemically distinct domains is a reliable strategy for preparing tailored nanostructures. Microphase separation results from the system, minimizing repulsive interactions between dissimilar blocks and maximizing attractive interactions between similar blocks. Supramolecular methods have also achieved this separation by...
