given a graph $g$, let $g^sigma$ be an oriented graph of $g$ with the orientation $sigma$ and skew-adjacency matrix $s(g^sigma)$. then the spectrum of $s(g^sigma)$ consisting of all the eigenvalues of $s(g^sigma)$ is called the skew-spectrum of $g^sigma$, denoted by $sp(g^sigma)$. the skew energy of the oriented graph $g^sigma$, denoted by $mathcal{e}_s(g^sigma)$, is defined as the sum of the n...

The commuting graph of a group is a graph with vertexes set of a subset of a group and two element are adjacent if they commute. The aim of this paper is to obtain the automorphism group of the commuting graph of a conjugacy class in the symmetric groups. The clique number, coloring number, independent number, and diameter of these graphs are also computed.

let $r$ be a commutative ring with identity and $m$ an $r$-module. in this paper, we associate a graph to $m$, say ${gamma}({}_{r}m)$, such that when $m=r$, ${gamma}({}_{r}m)$ coincide with the zero-divisor graph of $r$. many well-known results by d.f. anderson and p.s. livingston have been generalized for ${gamma}({}_{r}m)$. we show that ${gamma}({}_{r}m)$ is connected with ${diam}({gamma}({}_...

a graph of size n is said to be graceful when is possible toassign distinct integers from {0, 1, . . . , n} to its verticesand {|f(u)−f(v)| : uv ∈ e(g)} consists of n integers. inthis paper we present broader families of graceful graphs; these families are obtained via three different operations: the third power of a caterpillar, the symmetric product of g and k2 , and the disjoint :union: of g...

‎the concept of the bipartite divisor graph for integer subsets has been considered in [‎m‎. ‎a‎. ‎iranmanesh and c‎. ‎e‎. ‎praeger‎, ‎bipartite divisor graphs for integer subsets‎, ‎{em graphs combin.}‎, ‎{bf 26} (2010) 95--105‎.]‎. ‎in this paper‎, ‎we will consider this graph for the set of character degrees of a finite group $g$ and obtain some properties of this graph‎. ‎we show that if $g...

a proper vertex coloring of a simple graph is $k$-forested if the graph induced by the vertices of any two color classes is a forest with maximum degree less than $k$. a graph is $k$-forested $q$-choosable if for a given list of $q$ colors associated with each vertex $v$, there exists a $k$-forested coloring of $g$ such that each vertex receives a color from its own list. in this paper, we prov...

a recently published paper [t. došlić, this journal 3 (2012) 25-34] considers the zagrebindices of benzenoid systems, and points out their low discriminativity. we show thatanalogous results hold for a variety of vertex-degree-based molecular structure descriptorsthat are being studied in contemporary mathematical chemistry. we also show that theseresults are straightforwardly obtained by using...

‎we investigate two constructions‎ - ‎the replacement and the zig-zag‎ ‎product of graphs‎ - ‎describing several fascinating connections‎ ‎with combinatorics‎, ‎via the notion of expander graph‎, ‎group‎ ‎theory‎, ‎via the notion of semidirect product and cayley graph‎, ‎and‎ ‎with markov chains‎, ‎via the lamplighter random walk‎. ‎many examples‎ ‎are provided‎.
