In this paper, the cobondage set and cobondage number bC(G) of a fuzzy graph G are defined. The upper bound of a fuzzy graph with p nodes is given as min(p − (1 + S(G)), S(G) + 1). The exact values of bC(G) for some standard fuzzy graphs are found. Some results on bC(G) are also discussed. A numerical example is also illustrated. In this paper, the convergence of parameter estimates and the interactions among the two adaptive fuzzy systems constituting an indirect adaptive fuzzy controller are studied, both analytically and by means of simulations with a second-order nonlinear system. The analytical results and the simulations, performed with various initial conditions and learning rates, highlight how the interactions ...

In this work, we conduct a study considering a fuzzy rule-based multiclassification system design framework based on Fuzzy Unordered Rule Induction Algorithm (FURIA). This advanced method serves as the fuzzy classification rule learning algorithm to derive the component classifiers considering bagging and feature selection. We develop an exhaustive study on the potential of bagging and feature ...

Let G be a fuzzy graph. A subset D of V is said to be Fuzzy dominating set if every vertex u ∈ V (G) there exists a vertex v ∈ V −D such that uv ∈ E(G) and μ(uv) 6 σ(u) ∧ σ(v). The minimum Cardinality of fuzzy dominating set is denoted by γf . A graph G is said to be fuzzy excellent if every vertex of G belongs to γf -sets of G. In this paper, we give a construction to imbedded non-excellent fu...

For standard fuzzy systems where the input membership functions are defined on a grid on the input space, and all possible combinations of rules are used, there is an exponential growth in the number of parameters of the fuzzy system as the number of input dimensions increases. This “curse of dimensionality” effect leads to problems with design of fuzzy controllers (e.g., how to tune all these ...

Artificial recharge can be an effective method to raise the groundwater table and to resolve the groundwater crisis in Sefid dasht plain. The most important step to successful accomplishment of artificial recharge is locating suitable areas for artificial recharge. Hence this research carried out with purpose of determining suitable areas for artificial recharge in Sefid dasht plain. Slope, sur...

In this work we place some of the traditional biometrics work on fingerprint verification via the fuzzy vault scheme within a cryptographic framework. We show that the breaking of a fuzzy vault leads to decoding of Reed-Solomon codes from random errors, which has been proposed as a hard problem in the cryptography community. We provide a security parameter for the fuzzy vault in terms of the de...

Because the SVM (support vector machine) classifies data with the widest symmetric margin to decrease the probability of the test error, modern fuzzy systems use SVM to tune the parameters of fuzzy if-then rules. But, solving the SVM model is time-consuming. To overcome this disadvantage, we propose a rapid method to solve the robust SVM model and use it to tune the parameters of fuzzy if-then ...

In 1993, Yang first extended the classification maximum likelihood (CML) to a so-called fuzzy CML, by combining fuzzy c-partitions with the CML function. Fuzzy c-partitions are generally an extension of hard c-partitions. It was claimed that this was more robust. However, the fuzzy CML still lacks some robustness as a clustering algorithm, such as its inability to detect different volumes of cl...

In this paper, optimization of a linear objective function with fuzzy relational inequality constraints is investigated where the feasible region is formed as the intersection of two inequality fuzzy systems and Yager family of t-norms is considered as fuzzy composition. Yager family of t-norms is a parametric family of continuous nilpotent t-norms which is also one of the most frequently appli...
