We present a robust non-iterative algorithm to design optimal minimum phase digital FIR lters with real or complex coe cients. We derive (1) the discrete Hilbert transform (DHT) of the complex cepstrum of a causal complex minimum phase sequence, and (2) the minimum fast Fourier transform length for computing the DHT to achieve a desired coe cient accuracy.

physiologically thermal comfort condition is a limit of temperature and humidity. ,in which thermal control mechanism of human body is in its least activity . thermal comfort conditions not only have impact on sizes of heating and cooling equipment ,but also affects the thickness of insulation, and .energy, consumption of buildings. it is necessary to define thermal comfort condition for differ...

Abstract In the European context, an understanding that States are responsible for effective child protection system is well established. Further, all 47 members of CoE have adopted Convention Protection Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, countries ratified UN on Child (CRC). Thus, come to understand their responsibility in terms child’s right protection. The aim this article explicate core...

Although airports contribute to region’s economic development, they have a negative impact on the environment and on the communities around them. Environmental impacts such as noise, air and water pollution, and natural resources consumption are some of the implications resulting from the operation of airports that have the ability to constrain airports further development. In addition, increas...

A method of quantitative comparison of two classi cations rules applied to protein folding problem is presented. Classi cation of proteins based on sequence homology and based on amino acid composition were compared and analyzed according to this approach. The coe cient of correlation between these classi cation methods and the procedure of estimation of robustness of the coe cient are discussed.

BACKGROUND Health promotion is an ethically challenging field involving constant reflection of values across multiple cultures of what is regarded as good and bad health promotion practice. While many disciplines are guided by a Code of Ethics (CoE) no such guide is available to health promoters. The International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) has been nominated as a suitable...

We consider the problem of numerically approximating the solution of an elliptic partial di erential equation with random coe cients and homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. We focus on the case of a lognormal coe cient, we have then to deal with the lack of uniform coercivity and uniform boundedness with respect to the randomness. This model is frequently used in hydrogeology. We approxi...

In this work, the modified group delay feature (MODGDF) is proposed for pitched musical instrument recognition. Conventionally, the spectrum-related features used in instrument recognition take into account merely the magnitude information, whereas the phase is often overlooked due to the complications related to its interpretation. However, there is often additional information concealed in th...

The recovery of the coe cient H(x) in the one-dimensional generalized Schrodinger equation d dx2 + kH(x) = Q(x) ; where H(x) is a positive, piecewise continuous function with positive limits H as x! 1; is studied. This equation describes the wave propagation in a one-dimensional nonhomogeneous medium in which the wavespeed 1=H(x) changes abruptly at a nite number of points and a restoring forc...
