A clinical statistic survey was carried out on the patients, diseases and operations experienced at our urological clinic in 1984. The total number of inpatients was 1314, the male to female ratio being 2.97:1. The major diseases of the inpatients were urolithiasis (452 cases, 34.4%), and BPH (297 cases, 22.6%). Among the operations, TUR-P 34.1%, ESWL 33.0%, TUR-BT 6.9% were predominant.

luxS mutants of Borrelia burgdorferi strain 297 naturally colonized their arthropod (Ixodes scapularis) vector, were maintained in ticks throughout the molting process (larvae to nymphs), were tick transmitted to uninfected mice, and elicited histopathology in mice indistinguishable from that induced by wild-type B. burgdorferi.

In this paper, an entanglement criterion for states in infinite dimensional bipartite quantum systems is presented. We generalize some of separability criterion that was recently introduced by Wu and Anandan in (Phys. Lett. A, 2002, 297, 4-8) to infinite dimensional bipartite quantum systems. In addition, we give an example aimed to illustrate the application of the theorem.

We describe the epidemiology of Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) among San Francisco County Jail inmates using APTIMA TV analyte-specific reagents on remnant urine. We detected TV in 15/713 (2.1%) men and 95/297 (32.0%) women. Among women, increased age was significantly associated with TV. The benefits of TV screening should be determined.
