The present paper reports the first record of Diplotomma cedricola (Werner) Etayo in eastern Mediterranean (Creta Island, Greece), being nearest from Corsica (France). This lichen species was found near Iérapreta on decorticated Cupressus sempervirens L. and Pinus brutia Ten. trees. finding constitutes a great expansion distribution range this species.
