A collection of unlabelled tournaments P is called a hereditary property if it is closed under isomorphism and under taking induced sub-tournaments. The speed of P is the function n 7→ |Pn|, where Pn = {T ∈ P : |V (T )| = n}. In this paper, we prove that there is a jump in the possible speeds of a hereditary property of tournaments, from polynomial to exponential speed. Moreover, we determine t...

The composition graph of a family of n+1 disjoint graphs {Hi : 0 ≤ i ≤ n} is the graph H obtained by substituting the n vertices of H0 respectively by the graphs H1, H2, ..., Hn. If H has some hereditary property P , then necessarily all its factors enjoy the same property. For some sort of graphs it is sufficient that all factors {Hi : 0 ≤ i ≤ n} have a certain common P to endow H with this P ...

The paper investigates waves generated by the moving loads on ice plates floating an incompressible fluid. Two different viscoelastic approximations are considered for cover: A model depending strain-relaxation time, and a including hereditary delay integral. problem is formulated in terms of exact dispersion relation Dirichlet–Neumann operator connected to fluid motion. Weakly nonlinear linear...

In this paper, we give definitions for common limit in the range property of mappings and obtain common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible functions in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space using the joint common limit in the range property of mappings(shortly, (JCLR) property). Our results improve and generalize results of Chauhan et al[1].

A Hereditarily Indecomposable asymptotic ℓ 2 Banach space is constructed. The existence of such a space answers a question of B. Maurey and verifies a conjecture of W.T. Gowers.

Let P be a family of graphs. A graph G is said to satisfy a property P locally if G[N (v)]∈P for every v∈V (G). The class of graphs that satis6es the property P locally will be denoted by L(P) and we shall call such a class a local property. Let P be a hereditary property. A graph is said to be maximal with respect to a hereditary property P (shortly P-maximal) if it belongs to P and none of it...

In this paper, a new form of separation axioms called r-fuzzy soft Ti;(i = 0,1,2,3,4), regular and normal are introduced in fuzzy topological space based on the paper Ayg?no?lu et al. [7]. Also, relations these with each other investigated help examples. Furthermore, some invariance properties, namely property hereditary specified.

The Banach space E has the weakly compact approximation property (W.A.P.) if there is C < ∞ so that the identity map IE can be uniformly approximated on any weakly compact subset D ⊂ E by weakly compact operators V on E satisfying ‖V ‖ ≤ C. We show that the spaces N(`, `) of nuclear operators ` → ` have the W.A.P. for 1 < q ≤ p < ∞, but that the Hardy space H does not have the W.A.P.

We give characterizations of the property of being weakly reductive for finitely generated commutative semigroups. As a consequence of these characterizations we obtain an algorithm for determining from a presentation of a finitely generated commutative semigroup whether it is weakly reductive. Furthermore, we present some connections between cancellative finitely generated commutative semigrou...
