We construct a counterexample to Solel’s[25] conjecture that the range of any contractive, idempotent, MASA bimodule map on B(H) is necessarily a ternary subalgebra. In this paper we prove some generalized fixed point theorems for a class of contractive mappings over an extended JS-generalized metric space. Notions weakly sensitive and strongly coefficient functions have been used here in proving theorems.
