We establish several results regarding dividing and forking in NTP2 theories. We show that dividing is the same as array-dividing. Combining it with existence of strictly invariant sequences we deduce that forking satisfies the chain condition over extension bases (namely, the forking ideal is S1, in Hrushovski’s terminology). Using it we prove an independence theorem over extension bases (whic...
The Opial property of Hilbert spaces and some other special Banach spaces is a powerful tool in establishing fixed point theorems for nonexpansive, and more generally, nonspreading mappings. Unfortunately, not every Banach space shares the Opial property. However, every Banach space has an alike Bregman-Opial property for Bregman distances. In this paper, using Bregman distances, we introduce t...
We discuss the properties of strictly typed languages on the one hand and soft typing on the other one and identify disadvantages of these approaches to type checking in the context of powerful type languages. To overcome the problems we develop an approach that combines ideas of both strict and soft typing. This approach is based on the concept of complete typing that is guaranteed to accept e...
We classify, in a non-trivial amenable collection of functors, all 2-chains up to the relation of having the same 1-shell boundary. In particular, we prove that in a rosy theory, every 1-shell of a Lascar strong type is the boundary of some 2-chain, hence making the 1st homology group trivial. We also show that, unlike in simple theories, in rosy theories there is no upper bound on the minimal ...
In this paper, under some appropriate conditions, we prove some $Delta$ and strong convergence theorems of endpoints for multi-valued nonexpansive mappings using modified Agarwal-O'Regan-Sahu iterative process in the general setting of 2-uniformly convex hyperbolic spaces. Our results extend and unify some recent results of the current literature.
A-ergodic nets and A-regularized approximation processes of operators are introduced and their convergence theorems are discussed. There are strong convergence theorems, uniform convergence theorems, theorems on optimal convergence, and theorems on non-optimal convergence and its sharpness. The general results provide unified approaches to investigation of convergence rates of ergodic limits an...
Fixed Point Theorems and Weak Convergence Theorems for Generalized Hybrid Mappings in Hilbert Spaces
In this paper, we establish weak and strong convergence theorems for mean nonexpansive maps in Banach spaces under the Picard–Mann hybrid iteration process. We also construct an example of mappings show that it exceeds class mappings. To numerical accuracy our main outcome, process is more effective than all Picard, Mann, Ishikawa iterative processes.
