In this paper, we study uniform exponential stabilization of the vibrations of the Kirchhoff type wave equation with acoustic boundary in a bounded domain in Rn. To stabilize the system, we incorporate separately, the passive viscous damping in the model as like Gannesh C. Gorain [1]. Energy decay rate is obtained by the exponential stability of solutions by using multiplier technique.

We develop the Sparse Approximate Matrix Multiply (SpAMM) n-body solver for first order Newton Schulz iteration of the matrix square root and inverse square root. The solver performs recursive two-sided metric queries on a modified Cauchy-Schwarz criterion (octree-occlusion-culling in the ijkcube), yielding a bounded relative error in the matrix-matrix product and reduced complexity for problem...

If G is a locally compact group, then the measure algebra M(G) and the completely bounded multipliers of the Fourier algebra McbA(G) can be seen to be dual objects to one another in a sense which generalises Pontryagin duality for abelian groups. We explore this duality in terms of representations of these algebras in spaces of completely bounded maps. This article is intended to give a tour of...

Abstract A four-quadrant analog multiplier using a novel type of GaAs transistor is presented. This device, called 2-D MESFET, is dedicated to low power and high speed applications[1],[2]. A special architecture for the multiplier was designed by taking advantage of the dual-gate structure of the 2-D MESFET. The circuit relies on the square algebraic identity [8], with the squaring operation re...

We present the main ideas of the proof of the following result: The characteristic function of the unit disc in R is the symbol of a bounded bilinear multiplier operator from L1(R) × L2(R) into L(R) when 2 ≤ p1, p2 < ∞ and 1 < p = p1p2 p1+p2 ≤ 2.

Multiplication is an essential image processing operation commonly implemented in hardware DSP cores. To improve cores’ area, speed, or energy efficiency, we can approximate multiplication. We present multiplier that generates two partial products using hybrid radix-4 and logarithmic encoding of the input operands. It uses exact to generate product from three most significant bits approximation...

‎Let $X,Y$ be normed spaces with $L(X,Y)$ the space of continuous‎ ‎linear operators from $X$ into $Y$‎. ‎If ${T_{j}}$ is a sequence in $L(X,Y)$,‎ ‎the (bounded) multiplier space for the series $sum T_{j}$ is defined to be‎ [ ‎M^{infty}(sum T_{j})={{x_{j}}in l^{infty}(X):sum_{j=1}^{infty}%‎ ‎T_{j}x_{j}text{ }converges}‎ ‎]‎ ‎and the summing operator $S:M^{infty}(sum T_{j})rightarrow Y$ associat...

Introduction The motivating example for the main theorem of this paper is the following elementary factorization in the Banach algebra c0 of complex sequences converging to zero. If a; is in c0, then there is an a ^ 0 in c0 such that x is in f(a).c0 for each continuous function / on [0, oo) with J-i{0} = {0} and/not tending to zero 'too quickly' as t tends to zero. This observation is essential...
