Magnetotransport and magneto-optics experiments offer a very powerful probe for studying the physical properties of materials. Here, we investigate second-order nonlinear magnetoconductivity tilted type-I Weyl multi-Weyl semimetals. In contrast to existence chiral charge pumping in linear response regime, reproduce absence transport using Boltzmann framework with Landau levels. We predict that ...

In this paper, the stability of a functionally graded magneto-electro-elastic (FG-MEE) micro-beam under actuation of electrostatic pressure is studied. For this purpose Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and constitutive relations for magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) materials have been used. We have supposed that material properties vary exponentially along the thickness direction of the micro-beam. Gov...

We report on the magneto-optical study of the spatially separated electron and hole layers in GaAs/AlxGa12xAs coupled quantum wells at low temperatures T>50 mK and high magnetic fields B <16 T. At high magnetic fields cusps are observed in the energy and intensity of the indirect ~interwell! exciton photoluminescence. We tentatively attribute these to the commensurability effects of the magneto...

The sensitivity of the magneto-optical Kerr response to electronic thermalization processes in ultrafast pump–probe experiments is studied by evaluating the complex conductivity tensor of Ni for non-equilibrium electron distributions. The electronic structure and optical matrix elements are calculated within density functional theory. To account for the electronic redistributions generated by t...

The magneto-optical properties of Co microsquare—2 mm edge—arrays have been investigated for different interelement separations, from 0.2 to 2.0 mm. The magneto-optical response is measured both at reflected and diffracted beams, and it is compared with the results of a model that uses micromagnetic simulations and optical diffraction theory to calculate the magneto-optical response for differe...

We present a detailed doping dependent study of the Josephson vortex state in La2−xSrxCuO4 using infrared spectroscopy. A magnetic field as high as 17 tesla, applied along the CuO2 planes, is found to suppress the Josephson plasmon in all measured samples. We find the strongest suppression in samples with dopings close to x=1/8 and attribute this effect to the spontaneous formation of in-plane ...

We make a step towards the understanding of spin dynamics induced by spin-polarized hot carriers in metals. Exciting the Fe layer of Au/Fe/MgO(001) structures with femtosecond laser pulses, we demonstrate the ultrafast spin transport from Fe into Au using time-resolved MOKE and mSHG for depthsensitive detection of the transient magnetization. Ultrafast spin dynamics is the key for development o...

Traditionally, magneto-dielectric effects have been developed by combining ferroelectric and magnetic materials. Here, we show a magneto-dielectric effect from optically-generated intermolecular charge-transfer states in an organic semiconducting donor:acceptor (PVK:TCNB) system. We observe in magnetic field effects of photoluminescence that a magnetic field can change singlet/triplet populatio...

a mathematical model is presented in the present study to control‎ ‎the light propagation in an inhomogeneous media‎. ‎the method is ‎based on the identification of the optimal materials distribution‎ ‎in the media such that the trajectories of light rays follow the‎ ‎desired path‎. ‎the problem is formulated as a distributed parameter ‎identification problem and it is solved by a numerical met...
