We consider the sparse recovery problem on Euclidean Jordan algebra (SREJA), which includes sparse signal recovery and low-rank symmetric matrix recovery as special cases. We introduce the restricted isometry property, null space property (NSP), and s-goodness for linear transformations in s-sparse element recovery on Euclidean Jordan algebra (SREJA), all of which provide sufficient conditions ...

This paper examines factors influencing a patient's choice of provider for outpatient health care services in Jordan. Factors including demographic, socioeconomic, insurance status, quality of care, household size and cost of health care were studied using a multinomial logit model applied to a sample of 1031 outpatients from the Jordan heathcare utilization and expenditure survey, 2000. The pa...

If a vertex operator algebra V = ⊕n=0Vn satisfies dimV0 = 1, V1 = 0, then V2 has a commutative (nonassociative) algebra structure called Griess algebra. One of the typical examples of commutative (nonassociative) algebras is a Jordan algebra. For example, the set Symd(C) of symmetric matrices of degree d becomes a Jordan algebra. On the other hand, in the theory of vertex operator algebras, cen...

The aim of this paper is to uncover the reasons behind what so-called total failure in e-government project in Jordan. Reviewing the published papers in this context revealed that both citizens and employees do not understand the current status of this program. The majority of these papers measure the quality of e-services presented by e-government. However, according to the minister of Communi...

The main purpose of the study is to examine the causal relationship between government revenues and expenditures of the Jordan government over the period from 1990 to 2011 using Granger causality and VECM tests methodology. Which provides channels of causation between government revenues (GR) and government expenditures (GE).The empirical results show that bidirectional causality running betwee...

In this paper, an algorithm for the computation of the Jordan canonical form of regular matrix polynomials is proposed. The new method contains rank conditions of suitably defined block Toeplitz matrices and it does not require the computation of the Jordan chains or the Smith form. The Segré and Weyr characteristics are also considered.

In this article, it is proved that under some conditions every bijective Jordan triple product homomorphism from generalized matrix algebras onto rings is additive. As a corollary, we obtain that every bijective Jordan triple product homomorphism from Mn(A) (A is not necessarily a prime algebra) onto an arbitrary ring R is additive.
