We achieved reversible changes in length and spectrum of Ag nanorods based on plasmon-induced photoelectrochemical reactions. The changes are applied to multi-wavelength and dual-polarization photochromism in visible-infrared regions. It allows display of invisible images viewable only by infrared cameras.
