Clinical recovery started in 23 children with Guillain-Barré syndrome after a mean time of 19 days and to full recovery in 15 was 6.2 months. Long term follow up indicated that 19 with acute onset had completely recovered clinically and three with subacute onset had a chronic relapsing or protracted course.
The Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) is an acute immune mediated progressive polyneuropathy having monophasic illness leading to paralysis. clinical features are ascending symmetrical muscle weakness that may lead respiratory failure. Diagnosis based upon presentation and supported by a lumbar puncture with CSF analysis demonstrating albumin cytological dissociation electrophysiological studies. O...
Three of five children who were born to consanguineous parents developed Guillain-Barré syndrome before they were 3 years old. The syndrome is rare in early childhood and we suggest that there may be a genetic element in the pathogenesis.
In this paper we will demonstrate a Voronovskaja-type theorem and approximation theorem for GBS operator associated to a linear positive operator.
In photovoltaic devices, the bulk disorder introduced by grain boundaries (GBs) in polycrystalline silicon is generally considered to be detrimental to the physical stability and electronic transport of the bulk material. However, at the extremum of disorder, amorphous silicon is known to have a beneficially increased band gap and enhanced optical absorption. This study is focused on understand...
