in this paper, we are going to study the g-natural metrics on the tangent bundle of finslermanifolds. we concentrate on the complex and kählerian and hermitian structures associated with finslermanifolds via g-natural metrics. we prove that the almost complex structure induced by this metric is acomplex structure on tangent bundle if and only if the finsler metric is of scalar flag curvature. t...

‎In this paper, generalized convex contractions on orthogonal metric spaces are stablished in whath  might be called their  definitive versions. Also, we show that there are examples which show that our main theorems are  genuine generalizations of Theorem 3.1 and 3.2 of [M.A. Miandaragh, M. Postolache and S. Rezapour,  {it Approximate fixed points of generalized convex contractions}, Fixed Poi...

We define the concept of a partial translation structure T on a metric space X and we show that there is a natural C *-algebra C * (T) associated with it which is a subalgebra of the uniform Roe algebra C * u (X). We introduce a coarse invariant of the metric which provides an obstruction to embedding the space in a group. When the space is sufficiently group-like, as determined by our invarian...

Let M be a compact 4-manifold with boundary ∂M , and consider the moduli space EAH of asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein (AHE) metrics on M . Any such metric g induces a conformal class [γ] of metrics on ∂M , called the conformal infinity of g. In this paper, we prove that the space of boundary values BAH of metrics in EAH is closed under natural conditions, i.e. if [γi] is a sequence of confor...

(g, x) → gx : G × X → X such that ex = x for every x in X and g(hx) = (gh)x for g and h in G and x in X (here e denotes the neutral element of G). It is easily seen that for each g in G the map x → gx is a homeomorphism of X whose inverse is the map x → g−1x . If x belongs to X and U is a subset of G, then U x = {gx : g ∈ U}. The action of G on X is transitive if Gx = X for every x in X . It is...

It turns out that if a reductive complement m of a homogeneous reductive space G/H possesses a number of properties (including its decomposability into an orthogonal sum of three Ad(H)-invariant irreducible subspaces) then there exists a simple way of determining whether an f -structure F on this space belongs to the classes G1f , NKf and Kill f of generalized Hermitian geometry with respect to...

We prove that the Teichmuller space of genus g > 1 surfaces with the Teichmuller metric is not a Gromov hyperbolic space.

and Applied Analysis 3 The following are examples of G-metric spaces. Example 1.8 see 7 . Let R, d be the usual metric space. Define Gs by Gs ( x, y, z ) d ( x, y ) d ( y, z ) d x, z , 1.4 for all x, y, z ∈ R. Then it is clear that R, Gs is a G-metric space. Example 1.9 see 7 . Let X {a, b}. Define G on X ×X ×X by G a, a, a G b, b, b 0, G a, a, b 1, G a, b, b 2 1.5 and extend G to X ×X ×X by us...

Using the setting of generalized metric space, the so-called G-metric space, fixed point theorems for mappings with a contractive and a generalized contractive iterate at a point are proved. These results generalize some comparable results in the literature. A common fixed point result is also proved.
