Application of fuzzy logic structures in computeraided design (CAD) of digital electronics substantially improves quality of design solutions by providing designers with flexibility in formulating goals and selecting tradeoffs. In addition, the following aspects of a design process are positively impacted by application of fuzzy logic: utilization of domain knowledge, interpretation of uncertai...

Motivated by the need to develop more effective methods of controlling uncertain non-linear systems, this paper focus on developing an adaptive fuzzy model-based controller, in which the optimisation variables remain in the fuzzy domain. The scheme uses an on-line fuzzy identification scheme, which is able to generate a fuzzy relational model using the training data from the system. The propose...

in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...

abstract this thesis includes five chapter : the first chapter assign to establish fuzzy mathematics requirement and introduction of liner programming in thesis. the second chapter we introduce a multilevel linear programming problems. the third chapter we proposed interactive fuzzy programming which consists of two phases , the study termination conditions of algorithm we show a satisfac...

Generally the fractal image compression is a technique based on the presentation of an image by a contractive transform, on the space of image, for which the fixed point is close to the original image. The fractal image compression is rapidly growing principle covers a wide variety of coding scheme in various domains. A large number of theoretical aspects of this concept are available. However,...

It has been recognised that formal methods are useful as a modelling tool in requirements engineering. Speci cation languages such as Z permit the precise and unambiguous modelling of system properties and behaviour. However some system problems, particularly those drawn from the IS problem domain, may be di cult to model in crisp or precise terms. It may also be desirable that formal modelling...

The current paper presents an algorithm to build a fuzzy relational model from input-output data. The paper discuss the trade-oo between linguistic integrity and accuracy and propose an algorithm for rule extraction (AFRELI). The algorithm uses a routine named FuZion to merge consecutive membership functions and guaranteed the distinguishability between the fuzzy sets on each domain.

This paper considers the robust stabilization problem for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems with time-varying delays subject to input saturation. The purpose is the design of dynamic anti-windup fuzzy controllers ensuring convergence of all admissible initial states within the domain of attraction. Delay-dependent conditions for the existence of solutions to this problem are obtained. A simulation ex...

Two extensions of classical Shepard operators to the fuzzy case are presented. We study Shepard-type interpolation/approximation operators for functions with domain and range in the fuzzy number’s space and max-product approximation operators. Error estimates are obtained in terms of the modulus of continuity.

The paper discusses the problem of rule weight tuning in neuro-fuzzy systems with parameterized consequences in which rule weights and the activation of the rules are not interchangeable. Some heuristic methods of rule weight computation in neuro-fuzzy systems with a hierarchical input domain partition and parameterized consequences are proposed. Several heuristics with experimental results sho...
