To investigate the origin of the first order molecular kinetics of the most prominent, Debye-type polarization, a detailed dielectric relaxation study of 66.5, 40, and 20 mole% solutions of 5-methyl-2-hexanol in 2-methylpentane (2:1, 0.67:1, and 0.25:1 molar ratios) was performed. The Debye-type polarization remains prominent in the solutions, despite the extensive loss of intermolecular hydrog...

We have used polarized Cu K-edge extended x-ray absorption fine structure to investigate the local lattice displacements in the charge-ordered La1.48Nd0.4Sr0.12CuO4 system. The temperature-dependent distance broadening, given by the Debye-Waller factors of the Cu-O bonds measuring local lattice fluctuations, shows a clear steplike increase below the charge stripe order temperature. The results ...

The formation of binary correlations in plasma is studied from the quantum kinetic equation. It is shown that this formation is much faster than dissipation due to collisions. In a hot (dense) plasma the correlations are formed on the scale of inverse plasma frequency (Fermi energy). We derive analytical formulae for the time dependency of the potential energy which measures the extent of corre...

The temperature and wavenumber dependence of the extended X-ray absorption fine-structure (EXAFS) oscillation hexagonal close-packed (h.c.p.) crystals have been calculated analyzed under effect non-ideal axial ratio c / a . anharmonic EXAFS is presented in terms Debye–Waller factor using cumulant expansion approach up to fourth order. An effective calculation model expanded developed from many-...

Barium substituted nanocrystalline ferrites with chemical composition BaxCa1-xFe2O4 (x =0.0 to 0.25) BCAF were prepared by solution combustion method. The phase formation of mixed spinal structured ferrites was confirmed by PXRD analysis. The average crystallite size was calculated using Debye-Scherrer formula and it was found to be in the range of 27-44 nm. Surface morphology was analyzed by S...

BACKGROUND Normal cell function requires timely and accurate transmission of information from receptors on the cell membrane (CM) to the nucleus. Movement of messenger proteins in the cytoplasm is thought to be dependent on random walk. However, Brownian motion will disperse messenger proteins throughout the cytosol resulting in slow and highly variable transit times. We propose that a critical...

Let $X$ be a vector space over a field $K$ of real or complex numbers. We will prove the superstability of the following Go{l}c{a}b-Schinzel type equation$$f(x+g(x)y)=f(x)f(y), x,yin X,$$where $f,g:Xrightarrow K$ are unknown functions (satisfying some assumptions). Then we generalize the superstability result for this equation with values in the field of complex numbers to the case of an arbitr...

– A model of a finite cylindrical ion channel through a phospholipid membrane of width L separating two electrolyte reservoirs is studied. Analytical solution of the Poisson equation is obtained for an arbitrary distribution of ions inside the trans-membrane pore. The solution is asymptotically exact in the limit of large ionic strength of electrolyte on the two sides of membrane. However, even...

‎this paper obtains the exact solutions of the wave equation as a second-order partial differential equation (pde)‎. ‎we are going to calculate polynomial and non-polynomial exact solutions by using lie point symmetry‎. ‎we demonstrate the generation of such polynomial through the medium of the group theoretical properties of the equation‎. ‎a generalized procedure for polynomial solution is pr...

In this paper, the Method of Fundamental Solutions (MFS) is extended to solve some special cases of the problem of transient heat conduction in functionally graded materials. First, the problem is transformed to a heat equation with constant coefficients using a suitable new transformation and then the MFS together with the Tikhonov regularization method is used to solve the resulting equation.
