We report theoretical and experimental study on Auger decay of excitons in Cu2O in a wide range of temperatures, from 2 Kelvin to 325 Kelvin, in single-photon surface excitation. We find that the Auger constant linearly increases with temperature above 100 Kelvin. This constant is important for experiments on Bose condensation of excitons.

Reduced graphene oxide/cuprous oxide (RGO/Cu2O) composite films were directly synthesized on the surface of copper foil substrates through a straight redox reaction between GO and Cu foil via a hydrothermal approach. Characterization of the resultant composites with X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) c...

We study dipole interseries transitions between the yellow and green exciton series in cuprous oxide including complex valence-band structure. To this end, we extend previous studies of spectrum resonances [P. Rommel, P. Zielinski, J. Main, Phys. Rev. B 101, 075208 (2020)] to optical different states addition from crystal ground state. This allows us augment calculations on using a hydrogenlike...

In this work, the simultaneous investigation of a single cuprous oxide microcrystal towards CO2 electroreduction (CRR, reduction reaction) by using Raman microscopy and scanning electrochemical (SECM) is shown. Cu2O microcrystals were electrochemically crystallized on an indium-doped tin oxide-substrate (ITO). Structural changes are observed in situ microcopy, which indicates their fast convers...
