In e-marketplaces, customers specify job requests in realtime and agents form coalitions to service them. This paper proposes a protocol for self-interested agents to negotiate prices in forming successful coalitions. We propose and experiment with two negotiation schemes: one allows information sharing while the other does not.

Psychological literature shows that people do not always make rational choices with respect to whom to collaborate with. Providing the value of candidate connections may help them choosing the right people to connect with in a network. This paper presents a model about coalitions in creativity that will be used to generate content-based and knowledge-based recommendations of candidate coalitions.

Security is a fundamental precondition for the acceptance of mobile agent systems. In this paper we discuss protocols to improve agent security by distributing critical data and operations on mutually supporting agents which migrate in disjunct host domains. In order to attack agents, hosts must form coalitions. Proper selection of itineraries can minimize the risk of such coalitions being formed.

To construct their Equilibrium Binding Agreements, Ray an Vohra [J. Econ. Theory, 73, 1997 ] define a concept of an equilibrium between coalitions. We show that this latter implicitely assumes that players, whithin each coalitions, use correlated strategies.
