The aim of the study was to perform cryosurgery on a primary breast tumor, coupled with simultaneous peritumoral and intratumoral tracer injection of a blue dye, to evaluate lymphatic mapping. We explored the ability of our strategy to prevent tumor cells, but not that of injected tracers, to migrate to the lymphovascular drainage during conventional resection of frozen breast malignancies. Sev...

We describe the technique utilized to successfully perform an end-bloc endoscopic resection of a major ampulla on a diverticulum.

The resected bone was autoclaved, replaced in its original position and stabilized with bone cement and a locked nail. This allowed early ambulation with minimal cost.

Single stage en bloc abdominoperineal resection and sacrectomy, with a myocutaneous flap closure is a relatively uncommon procedure. Our case study of a 77 year old man with a locally invasive rectal adenocarcinoma highlights the complex intraoperative management of such a patient.
