The D0 and CDF experiments at the proton-antiproton collider Tevatron have extensively searched for the Higgs boson and signals of supersymmetry using a wide range of signatures. The status of these searches is reviewed with a focus on recent measurements.
Guiding solenoidal magnetic field of the Tevatron beambeam compensation device has to be carefully aligned with respect to a straight trajectory of the antiproton beam. We present in this paper an optical method which allows to measure the direction of the magnetic field, results of magnetic measurements, and results of the field quality improvement with dipole correctors.
We discuss the perspectives of measuring direct CP violation parameters in hyperon decays by measurements with proton and/or antiproton beams, to be carried out at various facilities, and in particular we propose new experiments at the Tevatron and at the LHC.

This article is devoted to electron beam distortions in the “electron compressor” setup for beam-beam compensation in the Tevatron collider. The distortions are due to interaction of the electron beam with impacting elliptical antiproton beam. We estimate of longitudinal magnetic field necessary to keep the distortions low.
