F need to balance efficiency gains obtained through exploiting existing knowledge assets with long-term competitive viability achieved through exploring new knowledge resources. Because the use of knowledge management systems (KMSs) continues to expand, understanding how these systems affect exploration and exploitation practices at the individual level is important to advance both knowledge ma...
This article aims to review and identify critical factors of the implementation of knowledge management systems (KMS) for Iranian IT based organizations and clarifying the effect of KMS in organization success. The study determines several important factors affecting the implications of the knowledge management systems such as Motivation among KMS’s users and stakeholders, Flexibility and chang...
This article reports the case of a Brazilian child diagnosed with Kabuki make-up syndrome (KMS), addressing the clinical features observed, with emphasis on the disease-specific oral and craniofacial manifestations. The patient had the distinctive KMS craniofacial appearance, mild delayed mental development, fingers with prominent fingertip pads and visual deficit. The dental findings included ...
In 1999 Southern Networks deployed the Open Text Livelink knowledge management system (KMS). Livelink allowed for the centralization of key corporate applications and associated content at a global, regional, line-of-business, departmental and personal level. Prior to the implementation of Livelink on an enterprise scale, the corporation’s 94,500 employees relied on fragmented departmental web ...

We present observations of the most radio-luminous BAL quasar known, 1624+3758, at redshift z = 3.377. The quasar has several unusual properties: (1) The FeII UV191 1787-˚ A emission line is very prominent. (2) The BAL trough (BALnicity index 2990 kms −1) is detached by 21000 kms −1 and extends to velocity v =-29000 kms −1. There are additional intrinsic absorbers at-1900 and-2800 kms −1. (3) T...
We describe the structure of ground states and ceiling for generalized gauge actions on a UHF algebra. It is shown that both sets are affinely homeomorphic to state space unital AF algebra, any pair algebras can occur in this way, independently field KMS states. In addition we study subset called $${\text {KMS}}_\infty $$ -states.
[email protected] Abstract This article presents the manual and collaborative construction of an ontology design pattern (a generic ontology), named OntoCLUVA, of climate change (CC) field. This pattern is built for the needs of the construction of climate change ontologies. We used this pattern for a knowledge management system (KMS) of climate change. It will allow to each module of this K...
Kaposiform hemangioendothelioma (KHE) is a rare vascular tumor and has a high mortality in newborns when associated with Kasabach-Merritt syndrome (KMS). In two newborns with KHE and severe KMS refractory to medical treatment, emergency embolization led to clinical improvement in the acute neonatal setting by reducing tumor volume, increasing the platelet count, and improving other clotting par...
Knowledge management (KM) and knowledge management system (KMS) success is an issue that needs to be explored. The Knowledge Management Foundations workshop held at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences in January 2006 discussed this issue and reached agreement that it is important for the credibility of the KM discipline that we be able to define KM success. Also, Turban and A...
