The microwave cavity perturbation (MCP) technique is used to identify the transition from magnetite (Fe3O4) to the meta-stable form of maghemite (γ-Fe2O3). In this study Fe3O4 was annealed at temperatures from 60 to 300 °C to vary the oxidation. Subsequent to annealing, the complex permittivity and magnetic permeability of the iron oxide powders were measured. The transition to γ-Fe2O3 was corr...
in this pepper fe2o3 nanoparticles were synthesized via a fast microwave method. then fe2o3-tio2 nanocomposites were synthesized by a sonochemical-assisted method. the prepared products were characterized by x-ray diffraction pattern, scanning electron microscopy and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. the photocatalytic behaviour of fe2o3-tio2 nanocomposites was evaluated using the degrad...
We report successful growth of a uniform and scalable nanocomposite film of Fe2O3 nanorods (NRs) and NiOx nanoparticles (NPs), their properties and application for enhanced solar water reduction in neutral pH water on the surface of p-Si photocathodes.

Highly dispersed Fe2O3 nanoparticles supported on carbon nanotubes, prepared by a simple ethanol-assisted impregnation method, showed above 90% NO conversion and selectivity at low temperatures (200-325 °C). Moreover excellent durability and stability towards SO2/H2O was obtained.
