‎In this paper‎, ‎we prove some theorems related to properties of‎ ‎generalized symmetric hybrid mappings in Banach spaces‎. ‎Using Banach‎ ‎limits‎, ‎we prove a fixed point theorem for symmetric generalized‎ ‎hybrid mappings in Banach spaces‎. ‎Moreover‎, ‎we prove some weak‎ ‎convergence theorems for such mappings by using Ishikawa iteration‎ ‎method in a uniformly convex Banach space.

In this paper, we introduce some new types of pairs of mappings (f , g) on G-metric spaces called G-weakly commuting of type Gf and G–R-weakly commuting of type Gf . We obtain also several common fixed point results by using the (E.A) property. © 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

The aim of the paper is to study some generalizations of weakly Kannan and weakly Chatterjea-type contractive mappings in the setting of partial metric spaces. Some important outcomes are stated and proved, extending classic fixed point and best proximity point theorems. Examples are given in order to emphasize the utility of the main results.

In this paper we prove Leray-Schauder and Furi-Pera types fixed point theorems for a class of multi-valued mappings with weakly sequentially closed graph. Our results improve and extend previous results for weakly sequentially closed maps and are very important in applications, mainly for the investigating of boundary value problems on noncompact intervals.
