This paper carries out the integration of Burgers equation by the aid of tanh method. This leads to the complex solutions for the Burgers equation, KdV–Burgers equation, coupled Burgers equation and the generalized time-delayed Burgers equation. In this work, we established exact solutions for some nonlinear evolution equations. The tanhcoth method was used to construct solitary and soliton solutions of (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations. The tanh-coth method presents a wider applicability for handling nonlinear wave equations.
A generalized tanh method has been proposed and discussed. This method has been employed for solving two well-known models of nonlinear equations, namely the Drinfeld-Sokolov (DS) system and PHI-four equation. In this article we apply the modified extended tanh-function method to find the exact traveling wave solutions of the generalized KdV-mKdV equation with any order nonlinear terms. This method presents a wider applicability for handling many other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
