이 연구에서는 안동댐 상류 낙동강 양안에 퇴적되어 있는 광물찌꺼기의 현황 및 용출특성을 평가하고자 하였다. 태백시 구문소를 기점으로 약 55 km에 걸쳐 80지점에서 퇴적 광물찌꺼기를 확인하였으며, 퇴적된 부피는 3,668 m3로 추정되며, 노출 면적은 1,429 m2으로 조사되었다. 광물찌꺼기에 대한 전함량 분석 결과, As, Cd, Pb, Zn의 평균 햠량은 각각 3,518, 15.39, 2,616, 2,307 mg/kg 이었다. 폐기물용출시험 결과에서는 Cd과 Pb이 환경기준을 초과하는 것으로 조사되었고, Zn이 상대적으로 높게 용출되었다. 연속추출 As는 주로 비결정질 Fe-Al 산화물 결합 형태의 비율이 가장 나타났고, Zn은 외부 환경변화에 따라 쉽게 용출될 수 다른 원소에 비해 평가되었다....
