in this study, we modify an iterative non-optimal without memory method, in such a way that is becomes optimal. therefore, we obtain convergence order eight with the some functional evaluations. to justify our proposed method, some numerical examples are given.

in this paper, the di erential transform method (dtm) is applied to the fisherequation. this method can be used to obtain the exact solutions of fisherequation. finally, we give some examples to illustrate the suciency of themethod for solving such nonlinear partial di erential equations. these resultsshow that this technique is easy to apply.

method previously employed by westoo for the determination of alkylmercury compounds was producing very wide picks during g.c. analyses. changing the column temperature, carrier gas flow and pressure did not supersede the problem. therefore change in packing materials was experienced. 5% dc-200 on gas-chrom did not work. a packing material used for chlorinated hydrocarbons w, 80-100 mesh. as th...

to start with, having employed transformation wave, some nonlinear partial differential equations have been converted into an ode. then, using the infinite series method for equations with similar linear part, the researchers have earned the exact soliton solutions of the selected equations. it is required to state that the infinite series method is a well-organized method for obtaining exact s...

Recently Frankel [1] and Young [3, 4] have developed a method of successive overrelaxation for the solution of the difference equation analogue of the Dirichlet problem for a linear elliptic partial differential equation. The purpose of this note is to present a simple asymptotic theory of the overrelaxation process which depends on the assumption that the mesh size h approaches zero, but which...

The Chavy–Waddy–Kolokolnikov model for the description of bacterial colonies is considered. In order to establish if mathematical integrable, Painlevé test conducted nonlinear ordinary differential equation which corresponds fourth-order partial equation. restrictions on parameters equations pass are obtained. It determined that method inverse scattering transform does not solve Cauchy problem ...

The dispersionless Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (dKP) equation (ut + uux)x = uyy is one of the simplest nonlinear wave equations describing twodimensional shocks. To solve the dKP equation we use a coordinate transformation inspired by the method of characteristics for the one-dimensional Hopf equation ut + uux = 0. We show numerically that the solutions to the transformed equation develops singulari...

as a major consequence of medical interventions, quality of life (qol) is of great importance for patients suffering from refractory diseases, particularly cancer. the unbiased measurement of changes in qol is thus crucial in such cases. a prevalent bias related to qol research is the ‘response shift’ (rs) phenomenon. this review article aims to define rs and the challenges in measuring it. in ...

A classical problem describing the collective motion of cells, is movement driven by consumption/depletion a nutrient. Here we analyze one simplest such model written as coupled Partial Differential Equation/Ordinary Equation system which scale so to get limit usually observed pattern. In this cell density concentrated moving Dirac mass and nutrient undergoes discontinuity. We first carry out a...

A chaotic attractor has been observed with an autonomous circuit that uses only two energystorage elements: a linear passive inductor and a linear passive capacitor. The other element is a nonlinear active memristor. Hence, the circuit has only three circuit elements in series. We discuss this circuit topology, show several attractors and illustrate local activity via the memristor’s DC vM − iM...
