This paper describes a new class of maximally at lowpass recursive digital lters. These lters are realizable as a parallel sum of two allpass lters, a structure that has attracted much attention recently due to their applications in multirate ltering and the existence of low-complexity low-noise implementations of allpass lters. This class of lters can be made to have approximately linear phase...

Zero-if transceivers suffer from the imbalance of the I and Q paths. By using a complex low-pass filter topology instead of a conventional pair of real low-pass filters, this imperfection can be reduced. Both analytical and numerical analysis show that the proposed technique is significantly more robust to circuit imperfections than the traditional architecture.

ion is vital in order to achieve good compaction. With respect to side effects on performance, we made the following observations. First, the compacted programs become 2%-30% faster, with the speedup averaging approximately 11%. The main reason for this speedup is that, with code abstraction limited to infrequently executed code only, the whole-program optimizations results in far less instruct...

Voltage/current-mode universal biquadratic filter using single plus-type second-generation current conveyor (CCII), two capacitors and two resistors has been presented. The proposed voltage-mode circuit has three inputs and two outputs and can realize all the standard filter functions, which are, lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass filters, without changing the circuit topology. One ...

A current-mode universal biquadratic filter is presented. The architecture has three input terminals, one output terminal using one differential difference current conveyor (DDCC), two grounded capacitors and two resistors. It can realize all standard second-order filter functions, which are, highpass, bandpass, lowpass, notch and allpass responses without changing the circuit topology. The pro...

In this work, an electronically tunable universal voltage-mode biquadratic filter with single input and five outputs is introduced. The proposed filter structure only employs three differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifiers (DDCCTAs) and two grounded capacitors without needing any external passive resistor. All the five standard biquadratic filter functions; lowpass, b...

This study presents a new current-mode singleinput and multi-output (SIMO) type universal biquad circuit using second generation multi-output current conveyors (MOCCII) as the active components. The proposed circuit employs three MOCCIIs, two grounded capacitors and four grounded resistors, therefore offers electroning tuning possibilities. It can simultaneously realize second order low-pass, b...

A simple idea of the frequency transformation where each delay of the original real lowpass filter transfer function is replaced by the same allpass filter allows a lot of flexibility in manipulating the original filter to fit the required specification. The simple cases of real first-order transformations and a very few second-order ones have been suggested by Constantinides in the early 1970s...

A high-order current-mode and transimpedancemode universal filter with multiple-inputs and two-outputs based on multiple output second-generation current conveyors (MOCCIIs) is introduced. By choosing the input current terminals appropriately, the current-mode and transimpedance-mode lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch or allpass filters can be obtained without component matching conditions. The...

Objectives: The Parkinson's disease is a progressive phenomenon that effort for maintain of independence in functional and self-care skills is considered as one of the most important aspects of their life. PASS (Performance Assessment of Self Care Skills) evaluates the activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), and functional mobility (MOB) of the patients...
