In this paper we classify all finite solvable groups satisfying the following property P5: their orders of representatives are set-wise relatively prime for any 5 distinct non-central conjugacy classes.

Let G be a finite group and let $GK(G)$ be the prime graph of G. We assume that $n$ is an odd number. In this paper, we show that if $GK(G)=GK(B_n(p))$, where $ngeq 9$ and $pin {3,5,7}$, then G has a unique nonabelian composition factor isomorphic to $B_n(p)$ or $C_n(p)$ . As consequences of our result, $B_n(p)$ is quasirecognizable by its spectrum and also by a new proof, the ...

In this paper we will prove that the simple group $G_2(q)$, where $2 < q equiv 1(mod3)$ is recognizable by the set of its order components, also other word we prove that if $G$ is a finite group with $OC(G)=OC(G_2(q))$, then $G$ is isomorphic to $G_2(q)$.

The harmonic index of a graph $G$, denoted by $H(G)$, is defined asthe sum of weights $2/[d(u)+d(v)]$ over all edges $uv$ of $G$, where$d(u)$ denotes the degree of a vertex $u$. Hu and Zhou [Y. Hu and X. Zhou, WSEAS Trans. Math. {bf 12} (2013) 716--726] proved that for any bicyclic graph $G$ of order $ngeq 4$, $H(G)le frac{n}{2}-frac{1}{15}$ and characterize all extremal bicyclic graphs. In this...

Abstract. In this paper, lexicographic products of two fuzzy graphs namely, lexicographic min-product and lexicographic max-product which are analogous to the concept lexicographic product in crisp graph theory are defined. It is illustrated that the operations lexicographic products are not commutative. The connected, effective and complete properties of the operations lexicographic products a...

It is known that the problem of telling whether a cyclic order is included in some cycle is NP-complete. We show that the same question for order varieties, a special class of cyclic orders, is in L. For this, we relate the entropy relation between partial orders to the forcing relation of graph theory.

The generalized atom-bond connectivity index of a graph G is denoted by ABCa(G) and defined as the sum of weights ((d(u)+d(v)-2)/d(u)d(v))aa$ over all edges uv∊G. A cactus is a graph in which any two cycles have at most one common vertex. In this paper, we compute sharp bounds for  ABCa index for cacti of order $n$ ...

Each relational structure X has an associated Gaifman graph, which endows X with the properties of a graph. If x is an element of X, let Bn(x) be the ball of radius n around x. Suppose that X is infinite, connected and of bounded degree. A first-order sentence φ in the language of X is almost surely true (resp. a.s. false) for finite substructures of X if for every x ∈ X, the fraction of substr...

We introduce the equational notion of a monadic bounded algebra (MBA), intended to capture algebraic properties of bounded quantification. The variety of all MBA’s is shown to be generated by certain algebras of two-valued propositional functions that correspond to models of monadic free logic with an existence predicate. Every MBA is a subdirect product of such functional algebras, a fact that...

We consider the random graph M n ¯ p on the set [n], were the probability of {x, y} being an edge is p |x−y| , and ¯ p = (p 1 , p 2 , p 3 , ...) is a series of probabilities. We consider the set of all ¯ q derived from ¯ p by inserting 0 probabilities to ¯ p, or alternatively by decreasing some of the p i. We say that ¯ p hereditarily satisfies the 0-1 law if the 0-1 law (for first order logic)...
