The HTTP/1.1 protocol is the result of four years of discussion and debate among a broad group of Web researchers and developers. It improves upon its phenomenally successful predecessor, HTTP/1.0, in numerous ways. We discuss the diierences between HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1, as well as some of the rationale behind these changes.
In this paper, we will obtain a form of Bernstein-Stancu bivariate operators and finally we will give an approximation theorem for them. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 41A10, 41A25, 41A36, 41A63.
This lecture continues to study the questions introduced last time. Do strategic players reach an equilibrium of a game? How quickly? By what learning processes? Positive results on these questions justify equilibrium analysis, including bounds on the price of anarchy. Last lecture focused on best-response dynamics. These dynamics are most relevant for potential games, which cover many but not ...
The present study is an assessment of normal values of nasal nitric oxide (nNO) in healthy children. Healthy children aged between 6-17 yrs were recruited from three schools in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Breath was held for 10 s, while air was extracted from one nostril at 700 mL.min(-1). The mean nNO value at the response plateau after 7-10 s was recorded and the average of three measurement...
In this paper, we define some new class, B k (a, b, c, p, n, α, ρ) by using the integral operators I p,n(a, b, c)f(z).We also derive some interesting properties of functions belonging to the class B k (a, b, c, p, n, α, ρ). Our results generalizing the works of Owa and Cho, see [2, 10]. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 30C45, 30C50.
Introduction Tau is a microtubule-associated binding protein implicated in neurodegenerative tauopathies, including frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). These diseases result in the intracellular accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau in the form of neurofibrillary tangles, the presence of which is associated with cognitive deficits. Methods We conducted a longitudinal...
Open-source software development is a production model that exploits the distributed intelligence of participants in Internet communities. This model is efficient because of two related reasons: it avoids the inefficiencies of a strong intellectual property regime and it implements concurrently design and testing of software modules. The hazard of open source is that projects can ‘fork’ into co...
We thank Greg Udell, Patricia Wilson, and participants at the 1995 FMA meetings for helpful comments and discussions. We are responsible for any mistakes that remain. The views in this paper are not necessarily those of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia or the Federal Reserve System. Abstract We examine a firm's choice between public and private debt in a model where the firm's financing...
