investigation of the redox properties of drugs and their determination are performed by electrochemical techniques. data obtained from electrochemical techniques are often correlated with molecular structure and pharmacological activity of drugs. in this regard, different modified electrodes were applied as sensors for quantification of different drugs.a nanocomposite of reduced graphene oxide-...

Cellulous-fiber papers are used as 3D structural templates for the assembly of graphene and graphitic carbon nitrate (g-C3N4) ultrathin nanosheets. The resultant materials, which possess highly active centers, rich porosity, and 3D conductive networks, can catalyze the oxygen evolution reaction with competitive activity and much better durability compared to the benchmark noble metal electrocat...

Li3VO4 nanoparticles embedded in graphene nanosheets (Li3VO4@GNS) were obtained using a sol-gel method. The composite presents excellent high-rate performance with a stable capacity of 133 mA h g(-1) at 50 C and long-life performance with a capacity retention rate of 63.1% after 5000 cycles at 5 C.

Herein, we propose a facile and efficient method to obtain the polystyrene/graphene nanosheets (PS/GNSs) nanocomposite particles. As far as we know, it is the first example that GNSs are attached onto the surface of PS microspheres, with such smooth morphology, and without relying on any surface pretreatments of substrate microspheres.

Here, we report that the reduced graphene oxide nanosheets were successfully synthesized using the ‎Lactobacillus plantarum biomass in a simple, environmentally friendly and scalable manner. We ‎produced graphene oxide by oxidization and exfoliation of graphite flakes with modified Hummer's ‎method and then reduced to reduced graphene oxide by using Lactobacillus plantarum biomass as a ‎...

Hydrophilic graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets can be easily coated onto stainless steel meshes. Compared to neat meshes, GO coated meshes become more hydrophilic in air and superoleophobic under water. Taking advantage of this completely opposite wettability, GO coated meshes were used for gravity-driven oil-water separation.

We report a facile green approach to the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) on the surface of graphene oxide nanosheets functionalized with mussel-inspired dopamine (GO-Dopa) without additional reductants or stabilizers at room temperature. The resulting hybrid Ag/GO-Dopa exhibits good dispersity and excellent catalytic activity in the reduction of nitroarenes.

this paper proposed analytical solutions for the buckling analysis of rectangular single-layered graphene sheets under in-plane loading on all edges simply is supported. the characteristic equations of the graphene sheets are derived and the analysis formula is based on the nonlocal mindlin plate. this theory is considering both the small length scale effects and transverse shear deformation ef...

We developed a hydrogen sensor of reduced graphene oxide-loaded ZnO nanofibers. An extremely high response of about 866 at a low concentration of 100 ppb was obtained. The combined effect of the presence of rGO nanosheets and hydrogen-induced metallization of ZnO played a crucial role in enhancing the detection behavior.
