Reducing the flammability of polymeric materials is a serious problem that needs to be solved. The paper presents results study effect iron nanopowders, used as filler, on epoxy polymers. Epoxy composites filled with 5 wt. % nanopowder and 10 boric acid separately, well in combination were prepared. prepared samples was evaluated by determining ignition temperature time-to-ignition.
