In developing countries, economic inequality is attracting considerable attention. Many factors including financial exclusion are key in explaining income gap countries. This paper examines the effect of access to services through digital technologies on inequality. Using data from World Development Indicator (WDI), Central Bank West African States (BCEAO) and Standardized Income Inequality Dat...
In this paper, we will prove some new dynamic inequalities on a time scale T . These inequalities when T = N contain the discrete inequalities due to Bennett and Leindler which are converses of Copson’s inequalities. The main results will be proved using the Hölder inequality and Keller’s chain rule on time scales. Mathematics subject classification (2010): 26A15, 26D10, 26D15, 39A13, 34A40. 34...
ABSTRACT. In this paper we prove some new dynamic inequalities on discrete time scales. These new inequalities contain some generalizations of the discrete inequalities due to Hardy, Copson, Leindler and Walsh. The main results will be proved using a general algebraic inequality and Keller’s chain rule on time scales. AMS (MOS) Subject Classification. 26A15, 26D10, 26D15, 39A13, 34A40. 34N05.
in this paper a general view of the gini decomposition is presented. in order to decompose the gini coefficient into within group inequality, between group inequality and transvariation inequality of the iranian urban and rural areas, the 2006 and 2010 micro-data and dagum (1997) method is used. the results indicate that about 48 percent of the inequality in the country as a whole has been due...
The Kuznets curve postulates a dynamic relationship between growth and income inequality for a given economy. These two aggregate phenomena are linked through compositional changes in individual characteristics when self-selection is constrained by personal wealth. This paper attempts to identify the crucial characteristics associated with this dynamic relationship, by studying the evolution of...
In this paper, we will prove some new dynamic inequalities of higher orders on time scales. The results contain some continuous and discrete inequalities as special cases. We will prove the results by making use of Hölder’s inequality and Taylor monomials on time scales. Mathematics subject classification (2010): 26A15, 26D10, 26D15, 39A13, 34A40.
In this paper, we investigate a certain class of Halanay-type inequalities on time scales in higher dimensional spaces. By means of the obtained inequality, we derive some new global stability conditions for linear delay dynamic systems on time scales. An example is given to illustrate the results. Mathematics subject classification (2010): 34K11, 39A10, 39A99.
The aim of this paper is to consider a dynamic competitive economic equilibrium problem in terms of maximization of utility functions and of excess demand functions. This equilibrium problem is studied by means of a time-dependent quasivariational inequality which is set in the Lebesgue space L2 0, T ,R . This approach allows us to obtain an existence result of timedependent equilibrium solutions.
The studies show if the wages are assigned by productivity, with wage discrepancy increase, income inequality will be caused by productivity increase. So by estimating total productivity the relation between productivity and income inequality index will be estimated by using econometrics model in Iran during (1974-2009). The results show that not only income inequality has a relation with unemp...
