The objective of this work was to present an overview abrasive technologies with solid carbon dioxide as a blasting medium. These methods can be successfully used for the removal wide range types industrial pollution. article covers literature reports in field examined cleaning mechanisms and manufacturing process dry ice, focusing on structure size product. Having correct understanding these p...

The removal of rock masses or their use with surface exploitation requires that this work be done at the lowest possible cost. reduction operating costs is by analyzing each action, working method, and possibility changing them, to have an impact on reducing costs. drilling angle one most important factors during blasting. By angle, we achieve a total length, amount explosives other changes bla...

Like most limestone mines, which produce the raw materials required for cement companies, the transportation cost of the raw materials used in the Shahrood Cement Company is high. It has been tried to build the crushing and grinding plant close to the mine as much as possible. On the other hand, blasting has harmful effects, and the impacts of blast-induced damages on the sensitive machinery, e...

Satisfiability Modulo Theories (SMT) is the problem of deciding satisfiability of a logical formula, expressed in a combination of first-order theories. We present the architecture and selected features of Boolector, which is an efficient SMT solver for the quantifier-free theories of bit-vectors and arrays. It uses term rewriting, bit-blasting to handle bit-vectors, and lemmas on demand for ar...

A nonlinear hyperbolic partial differential equation modelling the etching of glass by powder blasting is proposed. This equation is solved by means of the characteristic strip equations. The analytical solution is in reasonable agreement with measurements. AMS Subject Classification: 35F25, 35L60, 33C05.

Excessive exposures to airborne crystalline silica have been known for over 100 years to pose a serious health hazard. Work practices and regulatory standards advanced as the knowledge of the hazards of crystalline silica evolved. This article presents a comprehensive historical examination of the literature on exposure, health effects, and personal protective equipment related to silica and ab...
