India being a tropical country, parasitic infections especially with Plasmodium species are very common in this region. The present case report is that of Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium falciparum and dengue co-infection in a 6 months pregnant lady who was timely diagnosed and appropriately treated followed by a complete recovery along with feto-maternal well-being.

Presented here is the case report of a lady who was referred for evaluation and management of frank psychotic manifestations. A carefully taken history and physical findings pointed to the presence of hypothyroidism. This was later confirmed by laboratory evaluation. The patient improved after thyroxine supplementation.

Torsion of the gallbladder is an unusual cause of gangrenous cholecystitis. Even with the advent of recent radiological imaging modalities, the preoperative diagnosis of this entity remains elusive. Herein, we present a case of gallbladder torsion in a 76-year-old lady who successfully underwent laparoscopic derotation and cholecystectomy.

We present a young lady who satisfied the criteria for the diagnosis of toxic-shock syndrome (TSS). The differential diagnoses of TSS in the local setting are outlined. The pertinent clinical features of TSS and its increasing association with nonmenstruating females are highlighted.

The development of gastric carcinoma in a patient with gastric lymphoma is rare. Helicobacter pylori is a common etiologic agent for both these conditions. We report a 38-year-old lady who was initially diagnosed to have gastric lymphoma and developed early gastric carcinoma on follow up. She was operated on for the carcinoma and is in complete remission since.
