The title Cu(I) coordination polymer, [Cu(2)Cl(2)(C(30)H(28)N(6))](n), was obtained by reaction of CuCl(2)·2H(2)O and 1,4-bis-[1-(3-pyridyl-meth-yl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl]butane.
