Using available experimental data on fission barriers and ground-state masses, a detailed study of the predictions of different models concerning the isospin dependence of saddle-point masses is performed. Evidence is found that several macroscopic models yield unrealistic saddle-point masses for very neutron-rich nuclei, which are relevant for the rprocess nucleosynthesis.
Replenishing nutrients through organic sources is essential to maintain the soil health and sustainability in Eastern Himalayan Region, India which is organic by default. Keeping this in mind an experiment was laid out on randomized block design with six treatments viz., T1: Vermicompost (VC; 2.5 Mg ha-1), T2: Poultry manure (PM; 1.25 Mg ha-1), T3: Swine manure (SM; 3.0 Mg ha-1), T4: Cow du...
Prof Angeli recently discovered another synthesis of the same compound and was kind enough to inform me by letter[2] and allow their use at this point: benzilic acid condenses after merging with symmetrical dimethylurea to lose two water molecules and gives the same expected products (shown to me and sent in a sample). Crystal form, melting point and mixed melting point were identical. From the...
Standing inventory analysis allows a forester to predict the yield (volume by logtype) of a section of forest before the trees have been felled. Current standing inventory tools such as MARVL and ATLAS Cruiser predict yield. They do this by simulating the bucking that will take place when the trees are harvested. These tools produce a point estimate of the yield for given input data. In practic...
Calculations of the work required to transform between bcc and fcc phases yield a high-precision bcc-fcc transition line for monodisperse point Yukawa (screened-Coulomb) systems. Our results agree qualitatively but not quantitatively with recently published simulations and phenomenological criteria for the bcc-fcc transition. In particular, the bcc-fcc-fluid triple point lies at a higher invers...
This article investigates the existence of solutions to boundary value problems (BVPs) involving systems of first-order dynamic equations on time scales subject to two-point boundary conditions. The methods involve novel dynamic inequalities and fixed-point theory to yield new theorems guaranteeing the existence of at least one solution. AMS subject classification: 39A12, 34B15.
This article investigates the existence of solutions to boundary value problems (BVPs) involving systems of first-order ordinary differential equations and two-point, periodic boundary conditions. The methods involve novel differential inequalities and fixed-point theory to yield new theorems guaranteeing the existence of at least one solution. AMS 2000 Classification: 34B15
this research was conducted at torogh agricultural research station in khorasan-e razavi province to determine the impact of irrigation cutoff at different growth stages and percentage of water use on the yield and water use efficiency (wue) of wheat cultivars using sprinkler irrigation. the study was done from 2006-2008. the experimental design was a randomized complete block design with a str...
Using the equations of motion of pulse width and chirp, we present an analytical method for designing dispersion-managed (DM) fiber systems without optical losses. We show that the initial Gaussian pulse considered for the analytical design of periodically amplified DM fiber systems with losses will propagate as a proximity fixed point. Then averaging the DM soliton fields obtained from the slo...
