The paper gives an analysis of asymptotic behavior of linear differential equations with several delayed terms. There are considered power function coefficients in the equations. Delayed arguments are in the form of power functions with powers from interval (0, 1). Some asymptotic estimates are derived and illustrated by several examples. Due to increasing expansion of energy consumption and also the decrease and tendency towardsending fossil energy reserves, the current energy cycle needs to use alternative energy speciallywind energy, because it’s considerably cheaper than other recycling sources. The presentresearch investigates suitable possibility of exploiting wind energy to create wind power stationin Soltanieh zone of Za...

We report comprehensive simulations of the critical dynamics of a symmetric binary Lennard-Jones mixture near its consolute point. The self-diffusion coefficient exhibits no detectable anomaly. The data for the shear viscosity and the mutual-diffusion coefficient are fully consistent with the asymptotic power laws and amplitudes predicted by renormalization-group and mode-coupling theories prov...

Diode detection and bolometric detection have been widely used to measure radio frequency (RF) power. However, flow calorimeters, in particular micro-fabricated flow calorimeters, have been mostly unexplored as power meters. This paper presents the design, micro-fabrication and characterization of a flow calorimeter. This novel device is capable of measuring power from 100 μW to 200 mW. It has ...

Existing estimates of flight energetics in glossophagine flower bats, the heaviest hovering vertebrate taxon, suggest disproportionately high expenditure of mechanical power. We determined wingbeat kinematics and mechanical power expenditure for one of the largest flower bats (Leptonycteris curasoae Martinez and Villa) during hovering flight in normodense and hypodense gas mixtures. Additional ...

Kramers-Kronig (K-K) relations exist as a consequence of causality, placing nonlocal constraints on the relationship between dispersion and absorption. The finite-bandwidth method of applying these relations is examined where the K-K integrals are restricted to the spectrum of the experimental data. These finite-bandwidth K-K relations are known to work with resonant-type data and here are appl...

The congruence coefficient was first introduced by Burt (1948) under the name of unadjusted correlation as a measure of the similarity of two factorial configurations. The name congruence coefficient was later tailored by Tucker (1951, see also Harman, 1976). The congruence coefficient is also sometimes called a monotonicity coefficient (Borg & Groenen, 1997, p. 203). The congruence coefficient...

Three tests are proposed based on F-distribution, Likelihood Ratio Test (LRT) and large sample Z-test for intraclass correlation coefficient under unequal family sizes based on a single multinormal sample. It has been found that the test based on F-distribution consistently and reliably produces results superior to those of Likelihood Ratio Test (LRT) and large sample Z-test in terms of size fo...

A low-power CMOS voltage reference was developed using a 0.35 m standard CMOS process technology. The device consists of MOSFET circuits operated in the subthreshold region and uses no resistors. It generates two voltages having opposite temperature coefficients and adds them to produce an output voltage with a near-zero temperature coefficient. The resulting voltage is equal to the extrapolate...
